Meet Anne

Anne Trauben, RN, CHHC, Founder, WHOLE HEALTH, educates, inspires, and empowers women and men to eat well, lose weight and live better- so they can look and feel younger, energized, balanced, comfortable and confident in their bodies, and in their lives. With a conventional background as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, Anne has also studied different dietary theories, lifestyle management and health coaching (CHHC) at Institute for Integrative Nutrition®, cooking at Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health, yoga (CYT) at Radiant Health Yoga®, and she was professionally trained as a coach (CPC) through International Coach Academy. In July 2006, Anne was featured as a coach expert in Fitness Magazine's "You Can Do It!" Agency Challenge.

WHOLE HEALTH also offers hands-on kitchen organization sessions, natural food market tours and healthy cooking classes.

On a Personal Note:

As a kid, I remember being a very picky eater. I grew up eating candy, Wonder Bread, TV dinners and frozen pizza (the latter two had been considered a treat), but at some point my parents started growing sprouts and taking supplements (when neither were, to say the least, commonplace) and decided the way we ate was going to change- for the better. They also took our family to the Maharishi's to learn Transcendental Meditation. (This was the 70's!) Needless to say, these things had a big impact on me and planted seeds that germinated. As a former Labor & Delivery Nurse I was a women's health advocate, encouraging and supporting women to have the birthing experience they desired. I stopped drinking coffee and have been a vegetarian for more than 20 years, and I've been practicing yoga almost as long. I have a Masters in Fine Art, so I'm a creative as well. I'm levelheaded, grounded and see great potential in others. I know eating well and living a balanced life is challenging. It's something that we all work at
. Some favorite foods are ginger tea, bok choy, coconut and papaya, and an occasional (no-longer guilty) pleasure includes dark chocolate. I'm passionate about healthy living and inspiring others to be on a healthy path, and I am extremely passionate about food and cooking - healthy food. But it has to be delicious. And it can be. Why would we want to eat anything else?
